Questions
What are the easiest keys for guitar?
G, C, D, A and E major, and A and E minor. Their main chords are open shapes, so you can play them without barre chords.
How do I find the key of a song?
Look at the first and last chords. Most songs start and end on the home chord, and the rest of the chords usually come from that key's chart.
Why are some chords minor in a major key?
The chords are built from the notes of the scale itself. In any major key, the ii, iii and vi chords come out minor and the vii chord is diminished.
